[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] The Korea Information and Communication Promotion Association (KICA) announced that it will hold the '2021 ICT Innovation Square Artificial Intelligence (AI) Job Fair,' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, online from the 29th to the 3rd of next month.
This event, held to support employment for AI and blockchain specialists, is organized by KICA, the Korea IT Business Promotion Association, and the Korean Standards Association, which operate the Seoul ICT Innovation Square. Graduates of AI and blockchain training programs and specialized companies with hiring needs in related fields are expected to participate.
The event will feature ▲ an employment talk where current employees of AI and blockchain specialized companies participate as panelists to share employment trends in related fields ▲ an online corporate consultation channel with real-time Q&A to address questions from training graduates ▲ and a company matching program.
The employment talk will be broadcast live at 2 PM on the same day via YouTube (channel name: ICT Innovation Square) and will be available on the channel even after the event ends. Panelists from Korea Microsoft, Finda, and Coinplug will share useful information for employment, such as the qualities companies seek in candidates and employment trends.
The company matching program is designed to connect training graduates with employment opportunities. Applications are open until December 3rd, and from December 7th, a matching process based on mutual preferences between graduates and participating companies will be conducted to increase employment success rates, differentiating it from typical recruitment processes.
Han Moonseung, Head of the ICT Foundation Division at the association, said, “We hope that trainees will gain practical employment information through current company employees, and companies will use this as a great opportunity to hire specialized personnel trained through various educational programs.”
