[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Hyundai L&C presents 'Resilience: A Leap Toward a Better Daily Life' as the core interior trend for next year.

Hyundai L&C, a comprehensive building materials company affiliated with Hyundai Department Store Group, announced on the 29th that it will hold the interior trend seminar 'Intrend 2022·2023' on the 3rd of next month.

Intrend is a seminar where Hyundai L&C introduces interior trends expected to be popular in the following year. Marking its 12th year this year, the Intrend seminar will be held via the online video conferencing program Webex, considering the COVID-19 situation.

The key keyword of next year's interior trend presented by Hyundai L&C at this seminar is resilience, which means the ability to recover to a previous state after experiencing stressful situations.

Regarding consumers' lifestyles flexibly coping with COVID-19, Hyundai L&C plans to introduce a total of three trends: ▲ Spaces that gain healing from nature (Wellness Travel) ▲ Collaborative spaces that maximize creativity and practicality in work (Creative Collabs) ▲ Spaces that continue diverse experiences and communication (Digital Cozy).

A Hyundai L&C official explained, "In the rapidly changing environment due to COVID-19, people are adapting to changes and continuously striving to restore their daily lives," adding, "We are presenting spaces with three themes that reflect the changed consumers' lifestyles."

Hyundai L&C will also open an online virtual showroom called the 'Untact Lounge' on the official Intrend seminar website. In the Untact Lounge, detailed information on the interior and materials for each theme introduced in this seminar can be viewed.

This event is open to anyone interested in interior trends. Not only construction and interior industry professionals but also general consumers can participate on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications are available through the Hyundai L&C website until the 1st of next month.

A Hyundai L&C official stated, "We plan to use the Intrend seminar as a channel to expand communication with construction and interior industry professionals as well as general consumers," and added, "We will continue to listen to consumers' opinions through various channels and introduce products reflecting those opinions."
