Orion Launches Year-End Limited Edition Choco Pie 'Choco Pie Jeong Corn Cream'

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Orion announced on the 29th that it will release a year-end limited edition ‘Choco Pie Jeong Corn Cream’.

Choco Pie Corn Cream is a mass-produced version of the ‘Halloween Choco Pie’ introduced as a premium refrigerated dessert at the Choco Pie House during this year’s Halloween season. Available only this winter, Choco Pie Corn Cream uses winter-favorite ingredients such as corn and sweet potato to create a ‘home party cake’ concept Choco Pie. It contains marshmallows filled with corn cream sandwiched between pumpkin cakes.

Since its launch in 1974, Choco Pie has sold more than 2 billion units annually in the global market. Starting with the spring 2017 limited edition ‘Choco Pie Jeong Strawberry,’ Orion has continued to try new variations such as ‘Choco Pie Pistachio & Berry,’ the pink spring limited edition ‘Choco Pie Jeong Strawberry Blossom,’ and the winter limited edition ‘Happy Berry Chocolat.’ In December 2017, Orion reinterpreted ‘Choco Pie Jeong’ as a premium brand by launching the Choco Pie House’s ‘Dessert Choco Pie,’ developing differentiated flavors like caramel salt and red velvet, along with luxurious packaging.
