[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Shinhan Card announced on the 28th that it has signed a business agreement with Douzone Bizon to expand corporate card membership and carry out various marketing activities.

The signing ceremony was held on the 26th at Douzone Eulji Tower in Jung-gu, Seoul, attended by Shinhan Card’s Won-Shinhan Business Division Head Kim Seon-geon, Douzone Bizon Solution Business Division CEO Ji Yong-gu, and other officials.

Through this agreement, Shinhan Card plans to expand corporate card membership targeting corporate customers who use Douzone Bizon group affiliates as well as Douzone Bizon’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) and groupware systems.

First, to enable member company customers to easily apply for corporate cards, a digital-based one-stop issuance process using a non-face-to-face and paperless method linked with corporate data will be established. Additionally, a dedicated partnership card exclusively for Douzone Bizon corporate customers will be launched.

Last month, Shinhan Card converted the corporate cards of Douzone Bizon and other affiliates of the Douzone ICT Group to Shinhan Card, and plans to carry out marketing for various financial products including Shinhan My Car’s automobile products in the future. Furthermore, both companies will combine their data to develop new financial services and create corporate credit evaluation models based on cash flow data analysis, promoting various collaborations to lead digital finance.

A Shinhan Card official said, "Through this business agreement, we have expanded customer convenience by establishing a process that allows corporate customers to issue cards in a one-stop manner," adding, "We will continue to carry out various marketing activities in line with Shinhan Financial Group’s new vision of ‘Easier, More Comfortable, and Newer Finance’ to create synergy between the two companies."
