[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Soyoung] A Korean barbecue restaurant specializing in gopchang located in Koreatown, Los Angeles (LA), USA, is attracting intense attention. The restaurant is bustling with customers not only inside the store but also filling the parking lot in front, sparking curiosity.

This place was once recommended by the group BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan), and recently, as BTS visited Los Angeles for their first in-person concert in two years, fans have been flocking to the restaurant. On the 27th (local time), various social media platforms were filled with photos and videos of the LA gopchang restaurant packed with BTS fans.

Back in 2017, during BTS's visit to the US, in an interview with a media outlet, when asked "What food do you want to eat while staying in LA?" member Jin introduced, "Do you know 000 Gopchang? LA's number one restaurant."

Following this, 'ARMY' (BTS fan club) members arriving in LA for the BTS concert have been posting photos and videos on social media proving their visits to the restaurant. It is known that they remembered BTS's interview from four years ago and sought out this gopchang restaurant.

Additionally, rumors spread that BTS members themselves visited this restaurant while staying in LA for the concert, keeping fans coming continuously.

Among these, a particularly popular video showed fans filling the restaurant, swaying their shoulders and singing BTS's hit song "Butter."

Along with photos showing a long line from the restaurant entrance to the parking lot, posts describing this as the "BTS effect" and various reactions from fans poured in.

One fan shared that they waited five hours to eat that day, while another happily shared their fortune of being seated at the table where BTS sat four years ago, spreading joy.
