According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the day, all of them were investigated to be infected within the region.

By infection route, the highest number of cases was related to a daycare center located in Gwangsan-gu, with 14 cases.

Following that, 8 cases were related to an elementary school in Seo-gu, and 3 cases were related to B Middle School in Seo-gu.

One additional infection each was reported related to a middle school in Gwangsan-gu, B bathhouse in Buk-gu, and a kindergarten in Seo-gu.

Three cases were related to confirmed patients from other cities and provinces, and 9 cases (2 in quarantine) were related to previously confirmed patients within the region.

Nine people who tested positive through symptomatic testing have not yet had their infection routes identified.

The first dose vaccination rate was 82.4%, and the full vaccination rate was 78.7%.
