Hoban Construction Wins 'Street Housing Maintenance Project' in Sadang-dong, Seoul

New Construction of 227 Apartment Units from Basement Level 2 to 15 Floors Above Ground

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Hoban Construction announced on the 27th that it has been selected as the contractor for the street housing maintenance project in the area of 206-1 Sadang-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul.

This project involves constructing 227 apartment units and ancillary welfare facilities in three buildings ranging from two basement floors to 15 above-ground floors in the area of 206-1 Sadang-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul. The association plans to pass the building review in the first half of next year and aims to start construction in 2023.

The complex is near Namseong Station on Subway Line 7 and provides easy access to Gangnam and Gangbuk areas of Seoul via Nambu Beltway and Isu Intersection. Nearby schools include Sinnamseong Elementary School, Haengnim Elementary School, and Dongjak High School, all within walking distance. There are also abundant convenience facilities such as E-Mart, Namseong Saje Market, and Chung-Ang University Hospital.

A Hoban Construction official said, "At the end of the year, orders for urban maintenance projects are continuing in Seoul and the metropolitan area," adding, "Hoban Construction has been continuously winning street housing maintenance projects in Seoul's Seongbuk-gu, Bucheon-si in Gyeonggi-do, and Seo-gu in Incheon Metropolitan City this year."
