Design Improvements for Market Entrance and Over 110 Stores
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 28th that through the ‘IBK Hope Design’ project, it has uniquely improved the exterior design of the entrance to the Busan Nampo-dong dried seafood market and over 110 stores.
‘IBK Hope Design’ is a social contribution project launched in 2016 that provides free design and replacement of signs and B.I (Brand Identity) for small business owners with limited resources.
The bank replaced the old, inconsistent signs with a unified and distinctive design, and remodeled the awnings and display covers with bright patterns and colors. Reflecting the characteristics of the wholesale market that operates even at dawn, lighting was installed on all signs to create a lively atmosphere at night.
Improvement work was also carried out at the market entrance. A large sign featuring a new B.I (Brand Identity) designed to highlight the dried seafood market was installed, and the building’s exterior walls were remodeled to increase visibility.
An IBK Industrial Bank official stated, “We tried to remodel with a distinctive and sophisticated design while maintaining the market’s unique identity,” and added, “We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility as a national policy bank through the ‘IBK Hope Design’ project, which revitalizes depressed commercial areas.”
