[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] The presidential candidates from both the ruling and opposition parties engaged in a battle of words over the term "3-mu (無)," which means three absences. Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party candidate, targeted Yoon Seok-yeol of the People Power Party by questioning his qualifications, while the People Power Party also criticized Lee.
On the 27th, Lee visited the Saturday Market in Jangheung, Jeollanam-do, and in front of his supporters, he described Yoon as having the "3-mu" of "incompetence, ignorance, and shamanism," asserting that "the '3-mu' is a sin."
Lee introduced himself by saying, "Someone called me the '3-sil candidate,' with the first being ability, the second execution, and the third achievements." In contrast, he criticized Yoon by saying, "State affairs cannot be managed by cramming for a few months, and if the ability revealed through such study is problematic, it needs to be reconsidered."
He also stated, "He says he will bring in others to do the work, but he must have the ability to select capable people," adding, "It is a crime for a national leader to be incompetent." Furthermore, he said, "How can we ask some strange master or shaman about the country's future?" and "Deciding national policy by tossing a coin without knowing the content, as if leaving the country's fate to destiny, is truly a dangerous act that can destabilize and ruin the nation."

In response, Kim Eun-hye, spokesperson for the People Power Party's presidential campaign committee, said, "The original '3-mu (無)' was Lee himself from the start," and criticized him as "lawless, heartless, and shameless."
Spokesperson Kim said, "It seems there is no reflection in Lee's dictionary, who was 'punished like a mountain for even the tiniest speck,'" and criticized, "What can our children learn from a presidential candidate who disregards means and methods for the sake of his goals?" She continued, "Regarding the mother and daughter murder case in Gangdong-gu that occurred early on Parents' Day, if there had been even a single ounce of empathy from the victim's family who suffered from the heinous crime committed by their nephew, they would not have focused solely on 'diminished responsibility' and 'sentence reduction' up to the second trial."
She also pointed out, "He calls Daejang-dong, which caused indigenous people to shed tears of blood, the greatest public interest recovery since Dangun, and claims he did not know the gangster nature of the defense lawyer who trampled on the weak."
