On the 24th, Maxim Korea shared an article about this woman on its official SNS, stating, "We are looking for this person. Maxim will respectfully invite you." They continued, "If you are the person or know her, please contact Maxim. Please share widely," promoting the search.
Lee Young-bi, editor-in-chief of Maxim Korea, explained the purpose of the recruitment in a phone interview with Chosun.com, saying, "The woman reportedly shouted 'Life is Xseu,' which sounds somewhat philosophical, so I really want to interview her."
She also said, "If she is willing and has the charm our readers desire, a Maxim-style photo shoot is also possible."
Earlier, on the 22nd, a video titled 'Subway Line 3 Villain Woman' spread across various online communities and SNS, sparking controversy.
The approximately 20-second video shows a woman lying on the subway floor, shouting. She repeatedly yelled, "Xseu, life is Xseu" while lying on the floor.
The woman suddenly stood up, shook her head while dancing, and even said to a man, "I'm very cute, right?"
Netizens who saw the video reacted with comments such as, "There could be children on the train; this is too much," and "Shouldn't she be tested for drugs?"
Meanwhile, a Seoul Metro official explained that the incident occurred near Wonheung Station around 1:17 p.m. on the 15th. The official added, "At that time, there were reports about the woman’s abnormal mask-wearing and disruptive behavior, so staff responded and had her get off the train."
It was reported that whether the woman was intoxicated has not been confirmed.
