The 'I'm I Chef Choi Hyun-seok Steak Kit' is a frozen meal kit consisting of a portion of meat suitable for one person (150g), vegetable garnishes, and herb salt. It uses New Zealand tenderloin and features a 2cm thick cut ideal for cooking steak at home.

Since most households use the pan-searing method, which quickly cooks steak on a high-temperature frying pan, the thickness was optimized for pan cooking. Based on Chef Choi Hyun-seok’s meat aging experience, the meat is aged for 24 hours to eliminate odors and enhance tender meat flavor.

Unlike existing steak meat products offered at convenience stores, this product includes various garnishes that complement steak such as cauliflower, mini cabbage, mini king oyster mushrooms, green beans, and herb salt, allowing customers to complete the dish with just this one product.

An Emart24 MD explained that they worked with Chef Choi Hyun-seok on selecting the meat cut, composing suitable garnishes, and determining the optimal cooking method, resulting in this product after a 7-month development period. The video shares cooking tips such as how to thaw frozen steak meat and how to cook steak deliciously using a frying pan.
