Promotion of Special Listing for Sobujang Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Easytronics, a specialized power conversion device company, announced on the 26th that it has received approval for its preliminary review application for listing on KOSDAQ. Easytronics plans to list on the KOSDAQ market under the special exception for materials, parts, and equipment companies.
Founded in 2008, Easytronics is a customized specialized company for power conversion devices. It develops, manufactures, and sells power conversion devices essential for electric vehicles, hydrogen vehicles, and 5G infrastructure construction.
Power conversion devices are used in communication equipment, electric vehicles, and everyday electronic products to convert power into the form required by each product. They convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC), and vice versa, and can also convert between high voltage and low voltage. For example, in electric vehicles, the motor uses DC converted into AC power, and the battery must convert high voltage to low voltage. In this series of processes, the device that lowers the voltage of high-voltage DC is called a converter, and the device that converts DC to AC is called an inverter. Easytronics supplies converters and inverters optimized and commercialized for vehicles of 27 global customers with world-class technology.
In addition to electric vehicles, Easytronics has a business portfolio that includes rectifiers for communication and batteries for defense. Furthermore, the company is concretizing plans to enter fields such as industrial ESS and renewable energy produced in DC. CEO Chanho Kang stated, “We decided to list on KOSDAQ to invest in R&D and facilities to respond to the rapidly growing global demand for power conversion devices,” and added, “Based on Easytronics’ technology, we aim to grow into a top-tier global power conversion device company.”
