Baemin "Meet the Delivery Characters in Person"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok (hereinafter Baemin), announced that from the 26th of this month to the 5th of next month, they will operate a pop-up store called 'Baedal Friends and Soul Food' at the Central Atrium of Starfield Hanam.

This event is the first time 'Baedal Friends' are being introduced offline. Woowa Brothers prepared the pop-up store to promote 'Baedal Friends' to a wide range of customers from children to adults and to convey a familiar image.

Baedal Friends are mascots created by Baemin inspired by Korea's traditional folk dolls called 'Kkokdu.' Starting with 'Dokgo Baedali,' born with the launch of the Baemin app in 2011, there are currently a total of 15 types, including 'May Baedali,' 'Nyangi Baedali,' 'Wang Baedali,' 'White Bongdari Baedali,' and 'Black Bongdari Baedali.'

The pop-up store consists of an exhibition of Baedal Friends sculptures, a photo zone where visitors can take pictures with Baedal Friends, and a play-type experience zone for child customers.

Han Myeong-su, Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of Woowa Brothers, said, "Baedal Friends are mascots that embody Baedal Minjok's unique and lively sensibility, and through this pop-up store, we wanted to approach customers in a more familiar way."
