[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Chorokbaem Media is expanding its NFT (Non-Fungible Token) business into the global market by forming a strategic partnership with TikTok, a global video-sharing platform with over 1 billion users worldwide.
On the 25th, Chorokbaem Media announced that it signed a strategic partnership memorandum of understanding (MOU) with TikTok, aiming to expand its NFT business area into the global market.
Through collaboration with TikTok, Chorokbaem Media plans to conduct various forms of NFT-based businesses targeting the global market. Both companies plan to cooperate in various ways, including video content planning and production, and exchange of human networks centered on creators and artists, aiming to activate the NFT platform.
Additionally, Chorokbaem Media has already established cooperative relationships with key platforms in the NFT market such as Bithumb, Bident, Bucket Studio, and Wemade, responding swiftly to market changes. To secure a leading position in the NFT market, the company explained that it will continue aggressive investments in the production and accumulation of content IP (intellectual property) it owns, while expanding collaboration with strategic partners.
A representative of Chorokbaem Media stated, “The high-quality infrastructure that Chorokbaem Media possesses, including abundant content references, production capabilities recognized in the market, and long-established human networks, will create various business synergies by meeting TikTok, the global core platform with the largest number of users and traffic worldwide.” He added, “We plan to seek and strengthen strategies that enable mutual win-win growth.”
