Air Busan is providing duty-free discount coupons and preferential exchange rate benefits to reduce the cost burden for travelers heading to Guam.
Until the end of December, Air Busan is collaborating with Lotte and Shinsegae Duty-Free Shops to enhance traveler convenience and support valuable duty-free shopping.
Travelers flying to Guam with Air Busan who use the Lotte Duty-Free Shop Busan branch will receive benefits such as △VIP Gold grade upgrade △10% discount coupons based on purchase amount for purchases over a certain amount △a baggage porter gift on a first-come, first-served basis for purchases over USD 100.
When using Shinsegae Duty-Free Shop, travelers will receive △Shinsegae Duty-Free GOLD grade upgrade △20,000 KRW SomMoney (for Busan branch) that can be used like cash, and discount coupons based on purchase amount for customers who agree to marketing communications.
Air Busan also offers preferential exchange rate benefits to travelers on the Busan-Guam route using foreign currency exchange services in partnership with Busan Bank.
From the 27th of this month to January 1st next year, exchanging US dollars to Korean won through Busan Bank ATMs at Gimhae Airport will provide up to a 90% preferential exchange rate benefit.
Air Busan is selling Guam packages at affordable prices in cooperation with leading domestic travel agencies Hana Tour and Modetour, including round-trip airfare and local hotel accommodation for a 7-night, 8-day itinerary.
Air Busan is strengthening benefits for international flights resuming after a long hiatus by providing all passengers on the Busan-Guam route with a lucky box consisting of various items such as △model airplanes △badges △keyrings △smartphone charms.
An Air Busan official said, “We recommend enjoying overseas travel by taking advantage of diverse and practical benefits.”
Air Busan will operate the Busan-Guam route once a week starting from the 27th, and travelers can enter Guam without separate quarantine if they carry ▲an English certificate of completed vaccination ▲a negative COVID-19 test certificate issued within 72 hours.
To be exempt from quarantine upon returning to Korea, travelers must take a COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours before returning.
The cost of the test is supported by the Guam Visitors Bureau.
