Latest research topics in industry, academia, and research fields related to green vaccine development were presented, followed by discussions and Q&A sessions to discuss future research trends and development directions of the green vaccine industry.

A public hearing was also held to select joint government ministry planning projects for the development of response technologies for infectious and rare diseases based on green biologics.

Mayor Lee Kang-deok said, “Green bio is a promising technology capable of creating high added value,” and added, “We will support the green bio industry to become Pohang’s unique strength differentiated from other regions.”
