Yeonggwang-gun to Recruit Participants for 'Disabled Employment Project' Until the 6th of Next Month


[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 23rd that it will recruit participants for the '2022 Disabled Employment Project' by the 6th of next month to expand social participation and secure income by providing jobs to disabled people, who are vulnerable to employment.


The number of recruits is a total of 81, including 20 for the general type (full-time, part-time) and 61 for the welfare type. Selected personnel will be assigned to highly public projects such as assisting welfare tasks at the eup/myeon offices or guiding disabled-only parking.


Working conditions are 8 hours a day, 5 days a week for full-time general type; 4 hours a day, 5 days a week for part-time; and 56 hours per month for the welfare type.


Applicants must be registered disabled persons aged 18 or older residing in the county and will be selected through document screening and interviews.


Those wishing to apply can refer to the announcement section on the county website and visit the eup/myeon office with the application form for the Disabled Employment Project, consent form for collection, use, and provision of personal information, etc.


A county official said, "We will provide stable jobs to disabled people who find it difficult to get employment and support them to acquire practical skills to have better jobs."
