[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] CU announced on the 23rd that it will introduce a wage statement creation and delivery service in the labor management and education application (app) 'CU School' for franchise owners.
In this service, when the franchise owner inputs the staff's basic information and base salary, a wage statement is generated with detailed amounts automatically filled in for each item, including payment items such as basic allowance and overtime pay, and deduction items such as income tax and the four major social insurances. The completed wage statement can be conveniently stored as an electronic document and easily delivered to the staff via KakaoTalk messenger.
CU also provides free training so that franchise owners can understand the contents related to wage statements. Since the 16th, labor management training has been conducted for all franchises and directly managed stores, and the manuals that can be placed in stores have been updated and distributed. Two online labor classes, where professional labor consultants provide direct guidance upon franchise owners' requests, were also held.
A BGF Retail official said, "Staff management is a core task of store operation and one of the most challenging parts for self-employed business owners," adding, "As the franchisor, we will actively support the smooth operation of CU franchise stores nationwide by preparing various support programs."
