[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Small Enterprise and Market Service (SEMAS) will hold the 'Employment WEEK' event from the 29th of this month to the 3rd of next month in collaboration with the Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungcheong Public Institution Job Creation Council.
The Job Creation Council includes a total of eight institutions: Small Enterprise and Market Service, Korea Gas Technology Corporation, Korea National Railway Corporation, Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development, Korea Western Power, Korea Water Resources Corporation, Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation, and Korea Railroad Corporation.
This Employment WEEK event was organized to strengthen employment capabilities for local university students and provide the latest recruitment information from each institution in accordance with the public institution local talent recruitment policy.
The SEMAS mentoring team, composed of recruitment officers and new employees, will conduct on-site employment consultations and a live-streamed employment Q&A via YouTube at Chungnam National University on the 3rd of next month. Institution mentoring booths will also be operated to directly listen to university students' employment concerns and questions on-site and provide customized consulting for employment.
Prior to the event, on the 22nd, SEMAS participated in a public institution employment briefing session held at the Talent Development Center of Chungnam National University, providing SEMAS promotion and recruitment and policy information to students from 24 universities in the Chungcheong area.
Jo Bong-hwan, Director of SEMAS, stated, "This will be a meaningful opportunity to introduce our service to local talent and deliver the latest recruitment information," and added, "We hope for active participation and interest from university students and job seekers preparing for employment at SEMAS and other public institutions."
