[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Choi Simyeong, CEO of YapX, a KOSDAQ-listed company, received the ‘2021 Sustainable Management Innovation Award’ selected by the Korea Management Consulting Association (President Seol Wonsik, Professor at Sookmyung Women’s University) on the 20th.
At the Korea Management Consulting Association’s Fall Academic Conference, held in a non-face-to-face format, YapX was selected as the grand prize winner in recognition of its outstanding technology, sustainability, and innovation, based on its award history including the 2009 Korea Technology Award from the Minister of Knowledge Economy and the 2015 Presidential Citation for Contribution to Materials and Parts Technology Development.
The Sustainable Management Innovation Award Selection Committee praised YapX’s contribution, stating, “YapX has contributed to the development of the domestic materials and parts industry by producing innovative products in the electronic components and electronic materials fields, based on recent precision chemical manufacturing technology.”
Choi Simyeong, CEO of YapX, said, “YapX’s competitiveness in IT materials and parts manufacturing has been recognized across diverse fields such as OLED, semiconductors, secondary batteries, RFID, and NFC, establishing itself as a stable cash cow business.
