CJ Freshway, Cooking Class for Nursing Home Seniors

On the 17th, a professional chef from CJ Freshway conducted a cooking class for the elderly at a nursing home located in Seo-gu, Incheon Metropolitan City.

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] On the 18th, CJ Freshway announced that on the 17th, it held a Gochujang-making cooking class for the elderly at a nursing home under the Incheon Seo-gu Social Welfare Meal Management Support Center (hereinafter Incheon Seo-gu Support Center).

The elderly participants in the cooking class had the opportunity to easily prepare and taste gochujang using a tomato gochujang-making kit along with a cooking demonstration by a professional chef from CJ Freshway. The kit was composed of healthy ingredients such as domestically produced red pepper powder, sun-dried salt, and tomato puree.

The cooking class was organized to help the elderly maintain healthy meals and improve nutrition, as well as to provide enjoyment through cooking activities.

Starting with this cooking class, CJ Freshway plans to collaborate with the Incheon Seo-gu Support Center to develop various nutrition, hygiene, and safety content and to support small-scale meal service facilities. Additionally, CJ Freshway will assist in composing nutritious menus centered around its care food brand ‘Healthy Nuri,’ which promotes healthy eating habits.
