Free 1-Night Stay Voucher at Marriott Participating Hotels Worldwide
Opportunity to Earn Up to 12,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Shinhan Card announced on the 15th that it will hold an event for users of the 'Marriott BonvoyTM The Best Shinhan Card' in collaboration with Marriott International to support customers preparing for travel in the era of phased daily recovery (With Corona).
First, an event offering a one-night accommodation voucher valid at Marriott participating hotels worldwide has been prepared. The event targets customers who have no Marriott Shinhan Card payment history in the past six months (including customers who newly issued a Marriott Shinhan Card by January 31, 2022), and it will be provided to all customers who spend 3 million KRW or more (lump sum or installment) with the Marriott Shinhan Card by February 28, 2022.
Additionally, an event waiving the issuance fee is being held for customers who issue and use the metal Marriott Shinhan Card by January 31, 2022. Customers can receive the benefit by spending at least 30,000 KRW during the period, and issuance is available for the first 2,000 applicants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Along with this, an event to accumulate up to 12,000 Marriott Bonvoy points is also underway. From the 18th until January 31, 2022, if the payment amount through simple payment methods such as Shinhan Pay or Samsung Pay reaches 500,000 KRW or more, 2,000 points will be awarded; 1,000,000 KRW or more will earn 4,000 points; and 1,500,000 KRW or more will earn 6,000 points. Simultaneously, for overseas spending (overseas online and offline merchant usage), 2,000 points will be awarded per 1,000,000 KRW spent, up to 3 times, totaling 6,000 points.
Meanwhile, the Marriott Shinhan Card recently surpassed 10,000 cumulative issuances. It grants Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite membership status by default and offers various services such as one free stay per year at Marriott participating hotels worldwide and a 50,000 KRW discount on breakfast twice a year at Marriott participating hotels in Korea, which are cited as popular factors.
