CareLabs' 'Goodoc' Hospital Check-in and Reservation Cumulative Usage Exceeds 23 Million

Goodoc, the number one healthcare platform in Korea by number of users, announced on the 12th that its in-house ‘hospital reception and reservation’ service has entered a full growth trajectory, surpassing 23 million cumulative uses. The company explained that the contactless reception service via reception tablets has been evaluated to reduce the workload at hospital desks, and the number of hospitals adopting the service has steadily increased, with the average daily usage in October this year exceeding five times that of the same month last year.

In addition, Goodoc revealed that the QR check-in kiosk service, introduced mainly in large hospitals in the metropolitan area, has reached an average monthly usage of 500,000, surpassing 5 million cumulative uses over the past 10 months. The company analyzed that this service has contributed to in-hospital infection control from the perspective of COVID-19 prevention and that usage continues to steadily increase.

As patients who experienced the ‘Goodoc’ brand through O2O services such as reception tablets and kiosks at hospitals gradually increase, user inflow to the ‘Goodoc’ mobile app is also rising. As of October, Goodoc’s cumulative app downloads reached 7.5 million. The average monthly number of users is 1.5 million, securing an overwhelming leading position among domestic mobile healthcare platforms.

Im Jinseok, CEO of Goodoc, stated, “With a major platform renewal scheduled within the year, including contactless medical consultations and hospital reservation search functions, a more convenient reception-reservation system centered on mobile will be continuously developed.” He added, “Goodoc, which aims to be a user-centered and reliable healthcare platform by providing trustworthy information through over 300,000 hospital reviews, will continue to enhance the convenience of everyday healthcare services through IT technology and strive to make hospital use universally accessible to everyone.”
