Kim Ho Joong Official Fan Cafe ‘Aris’ Supports Underprivileged Community with Taehwa Welfare Foundation

The official fan cafe of singer Kim Ho-jung, ‘Aris,’ donated sponsorship goods to the social welfare corporation Methodist Taehwa Welfare Foundation (CEO Lee Cheol) on November 11 to help underprivileged groups in the local community.

This sponsorship was delivered through funds raised mainly by members of ‘Tantan Aris,’ a local group of ‘Aris.’ The donated items include 100 boxes of kimchi for kimjang and 200 pairs of socks, which will be distributed to 100 households of elderly living alone and single-parent families in the community through Taehwa Christian Social Welfare Center (Director Yoon Yeon-joo), a business institution of the Taehwa Welfare Foundation.

Members who attended the event said, “We hope this will be a warm gift to neighbors who are struggling during the cold winter,” and “We will continue to unite our members’ strength to keep donating.”

Meanwhile, the Taehwa Welfare Foundation began in 1921 at Taehwa Women’s Hall, Korea’s first social welfare facility, and is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.

Regarding this, a foundation official stated, “It is deeply meaningful to share 100 boxes of love-filled kimchi for kimjang together with ‘Aris’ in the year of Taehwa’s 100th anniversary,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to create a peaceful world without marginalized neighbors.”
