"Enjoy Fun Performances and Experiences That Empower Everyone"

[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do, is hosting the ‘2021 Muan-gun Emotional Busking’ to comfort residents and tourists exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic through music full of emotion and to support their recovery to daily life.
According to the county on the 12th, in line with the phased recovery of daily life and the transition to With-Corona, busking performances will be held four times every Saturday at 3 p.m. from the 13th of this month to the 4th of next month at three locations: Namaak Central Park, Noeulgil Camping Site, and Hoisan Baengnyeonji.
At Bulmu Park in Muan-eup, one performance will be held on Thursday, the 2nd of next month, at 4 p.m.
The first performance, held on the 13th at Namaak Central Park, will deliver a message of hope and harmony to the residents who have overcome COVID-19 well. It will include magic (Magic Travel), musicals (Muroop), and exciting DJ (MoonDigi) performances that encompass all generations from children and adolescents to the elderly, engaging everyone.
The second performance, at the Noeulgil Camping Site which opened in July, plans to offer enjoyment to tourists visiting the campsite with brass band (MP Ensemble) brass instrument performances, acoustic band (Kakimajam), and nostalgic 70s and 80s Korean pop songs (Yoon Sun-young, Choi Woo-jin), matching the deepening autumn atmosphere.

On the 20th, the third performance will be held on the water stage at Hoisan Baengnyeonji, a representative tourist spot, themed ‘Healing’. It will feature sweet singer-songwriter (Grandi), saxophone band (Choi Ui-mook), and fusion gugak (Nora), allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Baengnyeonji along with relaxation.
The fourth performance will be held at Bulmu Park on the 2nd of next month and is expected to add a special touch with performances for middle-aged audiences by popular trot singer Hyun Jin-woo, Wando’s So Chan-hwi Hwang In-sook who appeared on Hidden Singer 4, and Woo Yi-kyung who participated in the drama Red Shoes OST, along with unique juggling performances.
The final performance will be held again at Namaak Central Park on the 4th of next month, featuring a splendid show covering various genres including popera (The Charis), electronic instruments (Stella), band (Prologue), and bubble show (Bubble Tiger), marking the grand finale.
Additionally, alongside the busking performances, about ten experience booths such as car air freshener making, LED balloon making, marimo aquarium decoration, calligraphy frame making, natural dyeing, leather crafts, and a flea market selling unique products will be operated to increase residents’ interest. During the performances, quizzes related to Muan-gun and simple games will also be held to provide visitors with a different kind of enjoyment.
Furthermore, with the second phase of the Muan-type disaster relief fund being distributed since the 9th, Muan-gun plans to allow the use of Muan Love Gift Certificates for participation in experiences and product purchases during the busking events to encourage more people to join the events.
