On the 12th, SSG.com announced the implementation of 'Office Healthcare' for employee health, including hiring a health manager for logistics center workers.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] SSG.com announced on the 12th that it will implement 'Office Healthcare' for employee health, including hiring health managers for logistics center workers and preparing psychological counseling programs.
At the end of last month, SSG.com established health care rooms at its online store 'Neo' located in Gimpo and Yongin. These facilities are available to all Neo employees, including delivery drivers and employees affiliated with partner companies.
The reason SSG.com created health care rooms at Neo is to frequently monitor the health of on-site workers and create a safer working environment in logistics centers. The focus is on reducing the likelihood of musculoskeletal and cerebrovascular diseases and establishing an emergency response system to enable initial action in case of industrial accidents.
SSG.com equipped rehabilitation devices such as infrared irradiators, paraffin baths, and heat therapy devices to provide basic pain management. It also prepared specialized diagnostic equipment like body composition analyzers and vascular age measurement devices to prevent cerebrovascular diseases. Additionally, on-site health promotion programs linked with local public health centers will be operated.
An SSG.com official said, “We have established health management facilities and counseling programs so that employees can work with greater peace of mind and focus on their tasks. We plan to continuously improve the working environment through multifaceted support activities reflecting internal feedback.”
