Hyosung Delivers Sponsorship for 'Seoul Barrier-Free Film Festival'

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Hyosung presented 20 million KRW in Barrier Free film production support funds at the '11th Seoul Barrier Free Film Festival Opening Ceremony.'

Now in its fifth year of sponsorship, this project involves remaking films so that they can be enjoyed without restrictions caused by visual or hearing impairments. With Hyosung's support, a total of nine Barrier Free films, including steady sellers such as 'Billy Elliot' and 'Midnight Diner 2,' have been produced. Additionally, as part of employee social contribution activities, Hyosung employees directly participated in dubbing the film 'Dream Builder.' They have also contributed their talents by recording audio intros for the films 'Dream Builder' and 'Summer Night of Siblings,' helping to change perceptions about Barrier Free films.

Meanwhile, Hyosung is carrying out various sponsorship activities to create a society where people with disabilities can enjoy culture and the arts without barriers. Through support for the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture's Jamsil Creative Studio, they provide production costs and exhibition support for works by 12 disabled artists, and through sponsorship of the Onnuri Sarang Chamber Orchestra, they assist music activities for students with developmental disabilities.
