Mirae Company Achieves Cumulative Q3 Sales of 96.6 Billion KRW, 176% Growth Year-on-Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Mirae Company announced on the 11th that it recorded an operating profit of 6.4 billion KRW and a net profit of 8.5 billion KRW on a consolidated basis for the third quarter of this year. This represents a significant growth of 339% and 442%, respectively, compared to the previous quarter. The cumulative sales reached 96.6 billion KRW, showing a robust sales growth of over 176% compared to the same period last year.

Based on the world-class ‘precision grinding processing technology,’ the company has diversified its equipment portfolio to include customized processing equipment applied to various panel shapes such as bezel-less, flexible OLED, and Micro LED, which have recently become hot topics, as well as laser processing equipment and inspection equipment. This diversification has been the foundation for performance growth, and orders from domestic and international companies continue.

The company is also focusing its internal capabilities to gradually achieve results in the surgical robot market, which is dominated by global companies. In particular, following the selection of Revo-i as the 10th innovative medical device in May, Revo-i was introduced to the public medical institution at the general hospital level, the Nuclear Hospital, on November 1, attracting attention from the medical community.

A representative of Mirae Company stated, “Orders are expanding as customers resume investments delayed by the impact of COVID-19 in 2020, and inquiries from domestic and international display panel companies continue,” adding, “We are achieving results in diversifying the product portfolio in the display and semiconductor processing equipment sectors.”

Meanwhile, Mirae Company is leading the localization of semiconductor and display equipment after being selected as a ‘Top Material, Component, and Equipment (SoBuJang) Company’ earlier this year.
