Dong-Eui Science University, Yeonje District Office, and Sejong Management Advisory Sign Agreement on AI and Big Data Employment Creation and Job Support A business agreement ceremony was held for job creation and employment support in the fields of artificial intelligence and big data.


[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Dong-Eui Science University has entered the talent development business in the fields of artificial intelligence and big data by signing a business agreement with Yeonje-gu and Sejong Management Consulting.


On the 2nd, at the business agreement ceremony held at the university main building, Dong-Eui Science University President Kim Young-do, Computer Information Department Head Heo Bong-sik, Yeonje-gu Office Mayor Lee Sung-moon, Shin Sung-min, Head of the Job Economy Department, Sejong Management Consulting CEO Kim Kyu-il, and Director Kim Hyuk attended.


In the agreement, they agreed to establish an industry-academia-government exchange cooperation system to nurture young talents who will lead the Fourth Industrial Revolution era in fields such as artificial intelligence and big data. They will also promote employment support and job creation.


The main contents include ▲ job creation and support for local youth ▲ training of practical personnel in artificial intelligence and big data fields and employment support ▲ mutual use of facilities and equipment owned by participating organizations ▲ sharing of technical information and research data among each other.


Sejong Management Consulting, a domestic public institution specializing in artificial intelligence and big data consulting, will collaborate with Yeonje-gu and Dong-Eui Science University to promote informatization projects based on artificial intelligence, big data, and IoT to resolve digital inequality for vulnerable groups.


The Computer Information Department of Dong-Eui Science University has participated in the ‘Regional ICT Innovation Square Expansion Project Artificial Intelligence Curriculum’ to cultivate AI practical talents. To successfully promote this project, it plans to support the education sector in artificial intelligence and big data.


This industry-academia-government cooperation system is expected to help nurture young talents and create jobs in the Busan area and become a new role model for regional industrial development.


President Kim Young-do said, “As we enter the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, the boundaries between industries are breaking down and convergence is active,” adding, “Industry, academia, and government will join forces to prepare specialized curricula in the digital industry field.”
