Students of the Department of Nursing at Gyeongnam Information University are taking the Nightingale Pledge on the 3rd.

The Nightingale Pledge Ceremony is a ritual where second-year nursing students, who are about to begin clinical practice, reflect on the meaning of respecting life and make a commitment as prospective nurses.
The event was conducted in four groups. The prospective nurses pledged, "We will inherit the noble nursing spirit of Nightingale, respect human life, and dedicate ourselves to the well-being of those receiving nursing care."
Choi Yoon-sook, head of the Department of Nursing, said, "I hope this will be a valuable time to deeply reflect on the true image of nurses who illuminate the era, and that you will grow into professional nurses by inheriting the torch of senior nurses."
