‘CandyPlus’ is the new name of ‘Candy Camera,’ which was launched in November 2013. ‘Candy Camera’ is a globally hit mobile camera application featuring real-time filters and various editing functions since its release. Once mistaken as a Chinese app, ‘Candy Camera’ is a native Korean app with over 270 million global downloads.
Kim Song-eun, CEO of Studio SJ, said, “Recently, we updated beauty features using real-time facial recognition and significantly reduced ads to make the app more comfortable for users, which seems to be receiving a positive response. In the future, we plan to provide reward points to users who consistently use CandyPlus or participate in events.”
He added, “The provided points will be exchangeable for mobile gift certificates such as gifticons, which can be used at convenience stores, cafes, and various other places.
