Korea Digital Enterprise Association Calls for Entries for '2021 A Award' Until the 26th

The Korea Digital Enterprise Association announced that it is accepting submissions for the nominees of the '2021 A-Award,' the representative award of the domestic digital industry, until the 26th.

Now in its 15th year, the A-Award is the largest digital sector award in Korea, hosted by the Korea Digital Enterprise Association and officially sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation, and the Korea Internet & Security Agency. It presents updated categories each year to keep pace with the rapidly evolving trends in the digital industry.

This year, the A-Award is divided into two main sections: 'Digital Media & Services' and 'Digital Advertising & Campaigns,' encompassing a total of 63 categories. Submissions are accepted until November 26, followed by a fair and rigorous judging process from December 13 to January 7 of the following year, with the winners announced on January 13.

Companies submitting the best works will receive the highest honors in the domestic digital industry, including the Minister of Science and ICT Award, the Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation President Award, the Korea Internet & Security Agency President Award, as well as Grand Prix and Winner awards in each category.

Bang Dong-wook, Chairman of the A-Award Committee, stated, “The sole reason and purpose for the existence of the A-Award is to share the glory with companies and organizations that have achieved the best results in the digital industry through fair and strict judging. In these times when the mission of the digital industry is becoming more important amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, understanding and leading current trends is more crucial and challenging than ever. However, sincerity and effort remain the simplest and clearest ways toward a better future. As we celebrate the 15th edition this year, we promise to maintain our steadfast commitment without change.”

The awarded works will be compiled into a winners’ booklet, provided free of charge for use as promotional material by companies and organizations, and will also be distributed free to government offices and related institutions to help widely promote the companies and technologies.

Detailed information about submissions can be found on the official A-Award website, and any other inquiries can be directed to the ‘A-Award Committee.’
