[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-su] The Korea Post, under the Ministry of Science and ICT, revamped the Post Office Insurance app user interface and environment on the 1st to make insurance services more convenient for customers on mobile devices.
This Post Office Insurance app overhaul focused on creating a user environment that is comfortable for all customer groups, considering that the majority of Post Office Insurance policyholders are aged 40 and above.
The biggest change is the app's readability. By applying a simple yet intuitive design and UI/UX, reorganizing menus, and visualizing content, customers can easily find the information they want. Functionality was also greatly improved to enhance convenience. When customers launch the app, they are taken directly to the login screen, frequently used menus are prominently placed on the main screen, and menu and product keyword search functions were added.
Additionally, the app’s main color, startup screen image, and key menu positions were unified with the Post Office Savings app (Post Office Smart Banking) to ensure consistent usage across Post Office savings and insurance mobile services.
A commemorative event will also be held, where customers who certify app downloads or updates will receive a mobile coffee coupon from the 3rd to the 30th.
