JAYJUN Acquires Medical Marketing Specialist Company... "Synergy in Aesthetic Medical Device Business"

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Jayjun Cosmetic is creating synergies in the beauty medical device business and strengthening sales through the acquisition of a comprehensive medical marketing specialist company.


Jayjun announced on the 1st through a public disclosure that it has acquired 100% of the shares of a comprehensive medical marketing specialist company and incorporated it as a subsidiary. The total acquisition amount is 5.5 billion KRW.


The company acquired by Jayjun this time is a comprehensive medical marketing specialist company that plans and consults all aspects from hospital openings to commercial area analysis and promotion.


It possesses medical marketing experts with over 10 years of accumulated know-how, through which it establishes and executes effective marketing strategies from opening consulting. It provides various services to increase hospital sales not only for new hospitals but also for existing ones, including ▲ franchising of individual hospitals ▲ SNS digital marketing ▲ global marketing support.


Jayjun plans to strengthen its medical device business by utilizing the infrastructure and channels built based on the know-how the company possesses. In September last year, Jayjun established a beauty medical device subsidiary, ‘DRC Healthcare,’ and in October of the same year, DRC Healthcare acquired shares of the beauty medical device manufacturer ‘Daonik’ and incorporated it as a consolidated subsidiary.


A Jayjun official said, “The acquired company is an outstanding medical marketing specialist company that has rapidly grown since its establishment and is generating stable operating profits,” adding, “With the beauty medical device certification of the subsidiary DRC Healthcare completed, full-scale sales will begin next year, making it possible to maximize sales by utilizing the acquired company.”


He continued, “We will maximize synergies not only in the beauty medical device business but also in the beauty field such as fillers and Botox of the affiliate ‘RF Bio.’”
