[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] Hanla announced on the 31st that it has won the contract for the apartment construction in Bank 2 District B Block, Sincheon-dong, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi-do.
This project involves constructing a total floor area of 244,398㎡ with 6 buildings ranging from 3 basement floors to 47 above-ground floors, comprising 1,297 households and ancillary welfare facilities. The project scale is approximately 302.2 billion KRW. Construction is scheduled to start at the end of this year and be completed in the second half of 2025.
The project site is backed by industrial complexes employing 250,000 workers, such as Siwha Multi Techno Valley (Siwha MTV) and Maehwa Industrial Complex, and is expected to see improved residential conditions due to the development of the Siheung Eungye Public Housing District.
Sincheon Station on the Seohae Line is accessible on foot, and the site is adjacent to the Metropolitan Area 1st Ring Expressway, 2nd Gyeongin Expressway, and Gangnam Circular Urban Expressway. Within walking distance for school commuting are Shinil Elementary School, Sorae Middle School, and Sorae High School.
A Hanla official said, "There is a large-scale Hanla Vivaldi complex with 6,700 households in Siheung Baegot New Town," adding, "We plan to continue successful sales by the end of the year based on our high recognition and trust in the Siheung area."
