HDC Hyundai Development Company announced on the 28th that it recorded preliminary results for the third quarter of 2021 with separate basis sales of 923.4 billion KRW and operating profit of 132.3 billion KRW.
In the third quarter, sales increased due to equipment procurement (SOC) for Busan New Port 2-4, and sales of major projects such as Daejeon I-Park City, Yeongtong I-Park Castle Phase 3, and City O-CLE Phase 1 and 3 were reflected, resulting in sales of 923.4 billion KRW, a 13.9% increase compared to the same period last year.
Major orders in the third quarter included Eumseong Bonseong District, Pohang Phase 2, and redevelopment of Sangye 1 District.
An official from HDC Hyundai Development Company said, "Despite the uncertain domestic and international business environment, sales and operating profit margins have improved," adding, "With scheduled sales progressing at Gwangju Administrative Town, Pohang I-Park, Daejeon Doan Central, and Cheongna International City I-Park by the end of the year, as well as the full-scale implementation of complex development projects, we expect to achieve stable performance."
He continued, "HDC Hyundai Development Company will actively promote large-scale complex development projects such as the Kwangwoon University Station Area Development Project and the Yongsan Railroad Hospital Site Development Project to demonstrate its competitive advantage as a developer and grow into a comprehensive financial real estate company."
