Connection to Techno Valley 2 Complex... Expected Regional Economic Revitalization through Traffic Dispersion and Smooth Distribution Network
[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Wanju-gun announced on the 28th that the 2.3 km section connecting Samnye-eup Singeum-ri to Hari, linking the Techno Valley 2nd Industrial Complex, has been opened.
The newly opened section is a two-lane road including a roundabout at the intersection with the rural road Samnye 201 line.
This road project was rapidly promoted by issuing local bonds to minimize inconvenience to residents.
With the road opening, it is expected to facilitate smooth distribution of agricultural products, traffic dispersion, and the effectiveness of arterial roads.
Prior to this, Wanju-gun had opened 1 km of the total 7.7 km length in Guam-ri, Bongdong-eup earlier this year.
For the remaining project section connecting County Road No. 14, Wanju-gun plans to proceed by collecting opinions from local residents to ensure the road functions as a safe and convenient connecting road.
Meanwhile, in addition to the ongoing rural road construction projects this year, Wanju-gun plans to complete various projects such as hazardous road structure improvement within this year.
