Incheon TP Hosts 'Incheon Ppuri Industry Job Fair' with Participation of 20 Companies

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The 'Incheon Root Industry Job Fair' was held for two days on the 27th and 28th at the Central Park Hotel in Songdo International City.

This fair, aimed at resolving the manpower shortage of root companies and helping job seekers find employment, was hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and Incheon City, and organized by Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP).

About 20 small and medium-sized enterprises related to the root industry in the Incheon area, including casting, mold, plastic processing, welding, surface treatment, and heat treatment, participated in the fair.

Additionally, around 100 job seekers visited the company recruitment booths set up at the venue, submitted applications, and conducted on-site or video interviews.

Incheon TP plans to continue the recruitment event on-site in connection with the '2021 Smart Manufacturing and Machinery Industry Exhibition' to be held from the 3rd to the 5th of next month at Songdo Convensia in Incheon.

An Incheon TP official stated, "The root industry is a basic process industry that manufactures materials into parts and parts into finished products," adding, "We will strive to alleviate the manpower shortage of root companies, which are the foundation of manufacturing quality competitiveness, and the employment difficulties of job seekers, even if only a little."
