DB Insurance Supports Fintech Startup Fundraising Efforts DB Insurance announced on the 28th that it held the 'Beyond Fintech Demo Day' in collaboration with the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) and the Ministry of Science and ICT.


[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] DB Insurance announced on the 28th that it held the 'Beyond Fintech Demo Day' to support investment attraction for fintech startups, in collaboration with the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) and the Ministry of Science and ICT.


The event was attended by companies selected for the Insurtech Startup Incubation Program, tenants of the Fintech Technology Support Center, companies participating in fintech API development support, and venture capital representatives.


Kim Jeong-nam, Vice Chairman of DB Insurance, said, "We will discover outstanding startups and innovate together with them to become a company leading Korea's insurtech with high-level digital services."


On the day, a performance presentation was also held for startups participating in DB Insurance's 'Insurtech Startup Incubation Program 2nd cohort.' Five companies?Romin, Wayne Hills Ventures, Gogo F&D, OneSoftTime, and Carby?shared their business achievements and introduced their business models.


A DB Insurance official stated, "We are developing new products to pioneer new business areas and discovering new technologies with high applicability to work processes," adding, "We will contribute to the growth of startups and the activation of insurtech through closer consultations with the Korea Internet & Security Agency."
