Twosome Place Launches Plant-Based Protein Topping Salad

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Twosome Place announced on the 28th that it will launch plant-based protein topping salads.

As the number of vegetarians in Korea reaches one million and awareness of alternative foods changes, Twosome Place is expanding its product line using plant-based protein, considering customers' value consumption needs and positive responses to existing products.

This new product, the third to be introduced following Beyond Meat Panini and plant-based alternative meat Omni Meat Salad Wrap, consists of two types of salads topped with plant-based protein containing 0% cholesterol and trans fat.

The Chalbori Cobb Salad features plant-based protein "BBQ Bulgogi" with the charm of sweet and savory barbecue sauce and bite-sized toppings, served with soy dressing. The toppings include chalbori barley, tomato, beans, cucumber, red paprika, corn, and oats, making it a hearty meal.

The Bun Cha Salad is a salad version of Bun Cha, one of the wildly popular Vietnamese dishes. It offers a clean taste using umami-rich Bun Cha dressing, plant-based protein product "Spicy Pork" seasoned sweet and spicy with gochujang, pineapple, tomato, carrot, and cucumber.

The two new salad products are packaged in BPA-free containers and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified sleeves, adding social value pursued by Twosome.
