[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Jung Yoon-mo, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 27th that employees from the IT department visited the Dong-gu Comprehensive Social Welfare Center located in Beomil-dong, Busan Metropolitan City, to provide smartphone usage education for digitally vulnerable groups and donated a PC and monitor set for non-face-to-face education use.


The smartphone education program is a small-group customized training designed for digitally vulnerable groups, providing basic smartphone skills and guidance on frequently used apps.


Since 2007, Kibo has been conducting the "Sending PCs with Love Campaign" to support low-income families, basic livelihood security recipients, and other digitally vulnerable groups to actively participate in the digital society.


Kibo Director Kim Young-chun said, "We hope that this volunteer smartphone education activity will enhance the digital device utilization skills of digitally vulnerable groups and help bridge the 'digital divide.' Kibo will continue to carry out sharing activities to fulfill its social responsibility as a public institution."
