SK C&C, NH Investment & Securities Win 'Big Data Platform Advancement Project' Contract

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] SK Inc. C&C is introducing a 'financial-specialized SaaS (Software as a Service) big data analytics platform' that lowers costs while accelerating the adoption of digital new technologies.

SK C&C announced on the 28th that it has won the 'Big Data Platform Advancement Project' from NH Investment & Securities. This project was initiated to ensure the operational stability of NH Investment & Securities' existing systems such as the Mobile Trading System (MTS), Home Trading System (HTS), and NAMUH, to introduce the latest external big data analytics technologies, and to establish a digital open innovation environment.

SK C&C will implement the latest big data analytics system and open innovation platform on Naver Cloud, a public cloud, linked with NH Investment & Securities' major systems currently operated on the securities firm's own on-premise environment.

In particular, by applying the SaaS-type big data analytics platform AccuInsight+, it supports fast utilization of big data analytics services in securities business sites. With just one or two clicks, users can quickly access various services needed for data collection, preprocessing, storage, extraction, analysis, and utilization anytime, and design and operate their own big data analytics models. Billing occurs only when the service is actually used, significantly reducing cost burdens.

An external digital collaboration open innovation platform environment linked with AccuInsight+ will also be developed. By utilizing the open innovation platform, it is possible to adopt various digital new technologies developed and operated across diverse industries such as startups and enterprises, as well as industry-academia collaborations, all at once. It supports new program development using web crawling, which is widely used for external data collection, as well as open APIs, enhancing the efficiency of external big data collection and analysis.
