Kim Kwang-hoon, Public Relations Policy Advisor of Dongdaemun-gu, Publishes First Poetry Collection 'Baram-ui Norae'

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Kim Kwang-hoon, poet and Public Relations Policy Advisor (former head of the press team) of Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol), has published his first poetry collection, Song of the Wind.

Kim Kwang-hoon, who debuted by winning the 2015 International Literary Newcomer Award, structured his first poetry collection Song of the Wind into four parts: "Part 1: I Want to Go to You," "Part 2: Time, Longing," "Part 3: Song of the Wind," and "Part 4: Father's Empty Jige." The collection is filled with healing poems embroidered with memories, dreams, and hopes from Kim’s life.

Through Song of the Wind, Kim Kwang-hoon aims to offer readers both enjoyment and emotion, providing great comfort to those living in the stay-at-home era caused by COVID-19.

Kim Kwang-hoon said, “I debuted in the international literary scene with recommendations from senior writers, and poetry has now become an important driving force supporting one wing of my life. Compiling my past experiences into one book required me to muster courage once again.”

He also added, “I started late to participate in the work of gathering dry language and breathing life into it, and it feels like this effort is bearing fruit. Although this is just my first step and I am still lacking, I hope readers will treat this work with broad generosity. I am grateful to everyone who helped and supported me in publishing this poetry collection.”
