Damyang Education Support Office Operates School Violence Countermeasure Deliberation Committee

[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Damyang Office of Education School Support Center announced on the 27th that it conducted a capacity-building training and the 2nd regular meeting for 12 members of the School Violence Countermeasure Deliberation Committee on the 26th to prevent and support school violence.

This capacity-building training was held while practicing social distancing to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 infectious disease.

The training was conducted under the theme of securing expertise on the roles of the committee members and procedures and methods for handling cases, and operating the School Violence Countermeasure Deliberation Committee based on fairness, trust, and rationality.

In particular, during the regular meeting, there was a time to report on the activities of the subcommittee of the School Violence Countermeasure Deliberation Committee and to share various measures and opinions for preventing school violence.

A parent committee member who participated in the training said, "It was a time to realize how important the roles of the committee members are in the recovery and educational guidance of students involved in school violence through fair and rational deliberation."
