A man in his 50s who left home to pick mushrooms found dead after 8 days

According to the Gurye Police Station in Jeonnam on the 27th, at around 3:56 PM, a police dog found Mr. A (52) near the 80% ridge of a mountain in Ganjeon-myeon, Gurye-gun.

No signs of trauma or criminal suspicion were found on Mr. A, who was found dead.

Based on traces of fire around the body, the police are considering the possibility that Mr. A, who got lost in the mountain, died from hypothermia.

The police plan to determine the exact cause of death.

Mr. A told his family on the 19th that he was going to pick mushrooms but did not return home, and his family reported him missing on the 22nd.
