[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] On the 27th, Gyeongsangnam-do and the Gyeongsangnam-do Economic Promotion Agency awarded certificates to 13 companies selected as '2021 Gyeongnam-type Youth-Friendly Companies.'

The youth-friendly companies, which the province began selecting this year, are small and medium-sized enterprises in the province that excel in creating youth jobs, organizational culture, and welfare benefits. By discovering and supporting these companies, the policy aims to boost corporate morale, expand local job creation, and help young people actively participate in job-seeking activities.

To select youth-friendly companies, the province recruited small and medium-sized enterprises certified by public institutions located in the province. As a result, 49 companies applied, and after document screening and on-site inspections, 13 companies were finally selected through the Youth-Friendly Company Selection Committee.

In particular, during the on-site inspection process, 10 young people from the province participated directly in site checks and company interviews to discover companies that truly meet the desires of youth.

The 2021 youth-friendly companies selected this time are Weltem, Ilsin CNS, Changwon Technology Precision, Lactomason, ANH Structure, Shinshin-sa, Young Chemical, World Tube, G.P.C, Geumjeong Industry, ITC, SP Systems, and Jooyoung Industry.

The selected companies will receive incentives such as support for improving working conditions, replacement labor costs for parental leave, and additional employment encouragement funds, while young workers will also receive benefits for housing stability support.

Acting Governor Ha Byung-pil said, "The role and support of companies are most important in making Gyeongnam a place where young people want to live," and added, "We will provide various supports through the youth-friendly company certification system to offer practical help to companies."
