The drill was planned jointly with related organizations such as Gwangju Nambu Police Station and Gwangju Nambu Fire Station to establish a rapid situation dissemination and disaster recovery system in preparation for various disasters.
On the day, the disaster scenario assumed a fire outbreak caused by city gas leakage inside households due to an earthquake, and training was conducted in cooperation with related organizations, including situation reporting, rescue requests, on-site control of dangerous areas, and fire suppression.
The initial response of the apartment management office and the organic response system with related organizations were inspected and supplemented to strengthen safety capabilities for protecting the lives and property of residents.
In particular, by encouraging the participation of children from the daycare center within the complex, a good opportunity was provided to raise awareness and broaden understanding of disaster evacuation among children.
The LH Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters conducts annual drills targeting rental housing complexes and construction sites to ensure effective response in emergency situations.
