Eugene Investment & Securities Hosts Domestic Stock Investment Competition with Total Prizes Worth 150 Million KRW

[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] Eugene Investment & Securities is hosting a domestic stock investment competition with total prizes worth 150 million KRW.

On the 27th, Eugene Investment & Securities announced that it will hold the domestic stock investment competition "Practical Investment Race" from November 8 to December 30.

In this competition, three leagues will run simultaneously based on the asset amount in participants' accounts. Those with assets of 100 million KRW or more will automatically enter the "100 Million Race," those with 10 million KRW or more will enter the "10 Million Race," and those with 100,000 KRW or more will enter the "Ssoek Ssoek Race."

Prizes will be awarded to the top five participants in each league based on the combined domestic stock return rate. The first-place prizes per league are 50 million KRW for the "100 Million Race," 10 million KRW for the "10 Million Race," and 3 million KRW for the "Ssoek Ssoek Race," respectively.

There are also benefits based on cumulative trading amounts. One winner per league will be selected by lottery to receive prizes, with winning chances weighted according to cumulative trading volume. The prize for the 100 Million Race league is 200 shares of Samsung Electronics, the 10 Million Race league prize is a Bodyfriend The Pharaoh massage chair, and the Ssoek Ssoek Race league prize is an iPhone 13 series.

To provide additional benefits to participants, a team league concept parodying the Squid Game was introduced. Participants are automatically divided into Circle, Triangle, and Square teams, and the team with the highest return rate will receive a total prize of 10 million KRW. Winning team members will receive an additional amount divided equally among the team members.

Additionally, Eugene Investment & Securities will conduct daily lotteries for customers with daily trading amounts of 1 billion KRW or more and those with 10 million KRW or more. Ten winners will receive a 30,000 KRW department store gift certificate each, and 50 winners will receive Starbucks Americano mobile gift certificates. Benefits will also be provided to customers who open a non-face-to-face account for the first time and participate in the Practical Investment Race.

Anyone holding an online account can participate in this competition, and applications are accepted until December 24. However, only one account per person can apply, and a minimum deposit asset of 100,000 KRW is required.
