Korea Tourism Organization Releases Non-Face-to-Face Performance Video 'Sarangchae Playlist'

[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] The Korea Tourism Organization announced on the 27th that it has released a non-face-to-face performance video titled ‘Sarangchae Playlist,’ filmed against the backdrop of the Cheongwadae Sarangchae exhibition hall, on YouTube.

This performance video was planned to deliver messages of comfort and encouragement to everyone struggling due to COVID-19. The video features singer Gummy, known for hit songs such as ‘You are my everything’ and ‘Love Recipe,’ as well as Ahn Ye-eun, whose music style is deeply rooted in Korean charm with songs like ‘Hongyeon’ and ‘Sangsahwa,’ and guitarist Jang Ha-eun, who gained public recognition through the audition program Superband.

Additionally, by using Cheongwadae Sarangchae as the performance stage, viewers can indirectly experience the beauty of various parts of the exhibition hall without visiting in person. In particular, the music was selected to match each space within the exhibition hall, creating a harmonious blend of space and performance.

The performance videos will be uploaded sequentially over about a month starting from the 26th on the Korea Tourism Organization’s YouTube accounts (Imagine Your Korea, Korea Tourism Organization TV), and an event commemorating the performance will also be held.
