[Asia Economy Reporter Donghoon Jeong] Lee Jun-seok, former CEO of Komatrade, who filed a lawsuit against People Power Party lawmaker Kim Yong-pan for raising allegations of gang involvement against Lee Jae-myung, former governor of Gyeonggi Province and the Democratic Party's presidential candidate, appeared at the police station on the 26th for questioning.

The Anti-Corruption and Public Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency summoned Lee as a complainant in the afternoon to investigate the circumstances of the lawsuit.

Lee denied the allegations that Komatrade had delivered money to Lee Jae-myung, who was then the mayor of Seongnam City, calling them groundless.

On the 18th, during the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee audit, lawmaker Kim raised suspicions of Komatrade's money delivery, stating, "Park Mo (detained), a member of the International Mafia faction and a Komatrade employee, reported this." Kim also revealed Park's handwritten statement and photos of stacks of money at the hearing.

It is known that the statement and photos were received by lawyer Jang Young-ha, who met Park in detention, and then delivered to Kim's side.
